ABOUT REAGHAN T. SMITH, LMHC

FOUNDER OF COME AS YOU ARE MENTAL HEALTH

At Come As You Are Mental Health, I believe that therapy is a space where you can show up fully—without pressure, judgment, or expectation. I am a licensed mental health counselor based in New York, and I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change. My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate solution-focused, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help you better understand your experiences, develop coping strategies, and create lasting growth. For those who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling as a way to incorporate faith and spiritual guidance into the therapeutic process.

APPROACH

I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding. In our work together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels safe and manageable.Therapy with me is not about having all the answers—it’s about creating space to ask the right questions, gain clarity, and move forward with intention.

EXPERIENCE
